Athletes Village
Able were contracted to install a TV and Data System for 300 apartments spread over six blocks within The Athletes Village.
The requirement was that each apartment reveives both Astra and Hotbird Satellite signals as well as Terrestrial TV and Radio signals.
Due to the size of the site, Able designed a fibre backbone to carry the Satellite signals between blocks, with each block having its own TV headend.
Able also installed a mini-data network in each apartment.
