Project Description
North Kent Police new Head Quarters is a new build state of the art 11,500 Metre2 four-storey building, which houses police officers, civilian staff, evidential stores and includes a 40-cell custody suite.
Able installed 2,000 outlet Siemon Cat 6 LSZH data outlets across the four floors and custody suite. The computer rooms, fitted with Dell equipment cabinets, were interconnected through a Siemon OM3 fibre and Cat6 copper backbone. Able also installed a TV distribution system.
The biggest challenge of the installation was to install and protect the cabling amidst the confusion of a large building site.
